HOMER SPENCER
A memorial service for Homer I. Spencer will be at 11:00
am Monday in Valley Community Presbyterian Church with private inurnment
in Portland Memorial Crematorium.
Mr. Spencer, a Beaverton resident, died Friday in a Portland
area hospital. He was 76.
Mr. Spencer was a self employed consulting engineer,
specializing in construction of school buildings.
Born in Portland, he was a lifetime resident of the Portland
area. Mr. Spencer attended University of Oregon where he was a member of
the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He had served as chairman of the Washington
County Solid Waste Advisory Committee, and of the Beaverton Chamber of Commerce
Transportation Committee.
He was a member of the Valley Presbyterian Community
Church.
Survivors include his wife Thelma, sons; John and Scott,
both of Portland; daughter, Mrs. Anne Mathis, of Kennewick, WA., and four
grandchildren.
The family suggests remembrances be contributions to
the Valley Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
