HULDA JOHANNA LEHTO

     Hulda Johanna Lehto was born Aug. 23, 1899 at Hockinson, Wash. She died April 2, 1975 at the age of 75 at Goldendale. She lived in Goldendale and Centerville for 26½ years. The rest of her life was spent in Clark County.
     She was preceded in death by her youngest child, Wilbert. She is survived by her husband, Victor A. Lehto, seven sons, Norman Lehto, Crescent City, Calif.; Robert and Raymond Lehto, Vancouver, Milton Lehto, Dallas, Ore.; Mervin Lehto, Portland; Kenneth Lehto, Battle Ground and Layton Lehto, Camas; eight daughters, Trude Gustafson and Sylvia Harlow, both of Battle Ground; Mildred Puranen, Woodland; Elma Andruss, Vancouver; Laura Carter, Lawndale, Calif.; Dorothy Kay, Estacada, Ore.; Neva Shelton, Goldendale and Sharon Drago, Eastside, Ore.
     In addition, she is survived by 51 grandchildren and 33 great grand children, three brothers, Ben Rapakko, Vancouver, Bill Rapakko, Chimacum, and Andy Rapakko, Grand Rapids, Mich.; and two sisters, Lula Stokes, Portland and Sylvia Clifton, Vancouver.
     She was a member of the Apostolic Lutheran Church of Centerville. Funeral services were held April 5 at Goldendale High School. The Rev. Ray Hilman officiated. Interment followed at Centerville Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were made by Knosher Funeral Chapel.
     Pallbearers were Norman Lehto, Milton Lehto, Kenneth Lehto, Robert Lehto, Mervin Lehto, Layton Lehto and Raymond Lehto.

     Services for Hulda Johanna Lehto, 75, a former 48-year Clark County resident who died Wednesday in Goldendale, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Goldendale High School. Mr. Raymond Hilman will preside, with burial to follow in Centerville Cemetery.
     Mrs. Lehto, who was born Aug. 23, 1899, in Hockinson, lived in the Centerville-Goldendale area for 27 years. She was a member of the Apostolic Lutheran Church of Centerville.
     Survivors include her widower, Victor, at home; seven sons, Norman of Crescent City, Calif., Milton of The Dalles, Ore., Mervin of Portland, Kenneth of Battle Ground, Layton of Camas and Robert and Raymond, both of Vancouver; eight daughters, Mildred Puranen of Woodland, Elma Andruss of Vancouver, Laura Carter of Lawndale, Calif., Dorothy Kay of Estacada, Ore., Neva Shelton of Goldendale, Sharon Drago of Eastside, Ore., and Trude Gustadson and Sylvia Harlow, both of Battle Ground; three brothers, Ben Rapakko of Vancouver, Bill Rapakko of Chimacum, Wash., and Andy Rapakko of Grand Rapids, Mich.; two sisters, Lula Stokes of Portland and Sylvia Clifton of Vancouver; 51 grandchildren and 33 great-grand children.
     In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be given to the charity of your choice.
     Knosher Funeral Chapel in Goldendale is in charge of arrangements.
