HARRY L. DAVIS SERVICES TO BE IN TROUT LAKE
Harry Louis Davis, a resident of Trout Lake for the
past 32 years, died suddenly in his home in Trout Lake, Monday, November 4.
He was born July 28, 1903 in Fordland, Missouri.
Mr. Davis spent many years working in logging and at lumber mills. He
served as custodian of the Trout Lake schools, retiring in May 1967, because
of illness.
Harry Davis was a member of the Baptist church in Trout Lake and
belonged to the Trout Lake Grange where he had reached the 7th degree.
Surviving him are his wife, Olive May, in Trout Lake; 2 daughters, Mrs.
Richard (Jeanette) Denslinger, Trout Lake, Mrs. Russell (Josette) Hardman,
Portland; 2 sons, Ronald P. Davis, San Gabriel, California; and Ronnie L.
Davis, Shelton, Washington, his father William O. Davis, Springfield,
Missouri, 1 brother, Howard M. Davis, Hood River, Oregon; 2 half brothers,
Paul W. Davis, Roseburg, Oregon and Warren P. Davis, Seattle, 1 sister,
Maxine Gilmore, Springfield, Missouri and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held toady, November 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the
Baptist Church in Trout Lake with Rev. William Collier officiating.
Interment will be in the Trout Lake Cemetery.

HARRY L. DAVIS DIES AT HOME
Funeral services for Harry Louis Davis, 65, will be
Thursday, Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. in the Baptist Church in Trout Lake with Rev.
William H. Collier officiating. Burial will be in the Trout Lake Cemetery.
He died Monday November 4 at his home in Trout Lake.
Casketbearers will be Brady Neal, Phillip Jones, Robert McNeal, Paul
Caryl, Ray Fuller and Earl Knutson.
Surviving are his widow, Olive May, in Trout Lake; two daughters, Mrs.
Richard (Jeanette) Denslinger of Trout Lake and Mrs. Russell (Josette)
Harsman of Portland; two sons, Ronald P. Davis of San Gabriel, Ca. and
Ronnie L. Davis of Shelton, Wa.; his father, William O. Davis of
Springfield, Mo.; a brother, Howard M. Davis of Hood River, Ore.; two half
brothers, Paul W. Davis of Roseburg, Ore. and Warren P. Davis of Seattle.; a
half sister, Maxine Gilmore of Springfield, Mo.; ten grandchildren.
Mr. Davis was born July 28, 1903 in Fordland, Mo. He was married June
30, 1937 in Trout Lake to Olive May Aerni. He had been a resident of Trout
Lake for 32 years and worked most of that time in logging or a lumber mill.
He was school custodian at Trout Lake for a short time, retiring May 9,
1967. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Trout Lake and the Trout Lake
Grange, having reached the 7th Degree in Grange work.
