HERTHA DORR
Hertha Lenora Dorr, a former White Salmon resident, died
Saturday, Feb. 2, 2000, at her daughter's home in Washougal, at the age of
86.
Mrs. Dorr was born Aug. 28, 1913, in Stutzman County,
ND. She moved to White Salmon in February 1954 with her husband and six of
her 10 children who still lived at home. She then moved to Camas in the late
1960s and has resided there ever since.
She is survived by her sons Larry Dorr, Lyle, Ray Dorr,
Chilhowee, Mo.; daughters Delores McChesney, Anoka, Minn., Betty Pfiefle,
Washougal, DeElda Johnson, Camas, Luella Langdon, Bend, Ore., Patricia Locke,
Camas, and Carla Rodgers, Washougal; 31 grandchildren and many more great
and great, great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter DeEtta
Wilson.
A memorial service for Mrs. Dorr was held Saturday. Feb.
19, 2000 at 2 p.m. at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas. A private inurnment
was held at the White Salmon Cemetery.
