HARRY L. FORD
Services were held Monday, Jan. 8, for Harry L. Ford
of White Salmon who died here Jan. 3. He was 79.
Mr. Ford was born April 20, 1910, in Butte, Neb., to
Mabel Jarchow Ford and Robert Ford. He grew up there and married Margaret
Gallagher Oct. 21, 1935 in Atkinson, Neb.
He worked in shipyards during World War II. He was a
logger for many years, and worked for Bingen Plywood from 1962 until his
retirement in 1975.
He is survived by his wife Margaret of White Salmon,
daughters Jackie Pellegrini of Portland and Nadine Carr Yarnell of White
Salmon; sister Dora Murphy of O'Neill, Neb.; eight grandchildren and two
great grandchildren.
Monday's funeral service was held at Gardner's Funeral
Home with Rev. Arthur Dickey officiating. Burial was vault entombment at
White Salmon Cemetery.
