LOUISE KUHNHAUSEN
Helen Louise Kuhnhausen, a former White Salmon area resident,
died Oct. 12, 1995, in Sandpoint, Idaho, at the age of 52.
Mrs. Kuhnhausen was born May 31, 1943, in Springfield,
Mo., to Lula (Deckerd) and James Nave. She moved to White Salmon at the age
of 1 and lived in the area until her marriage to Derald Kuhnhausen in Kelso
in 1966. They moved to Vancouver and then to Newport. She lived there until
moving to Greenacres about eight years ago. After her children were raised,
she helped her husband with his trucking business, learning the computer
operations in the office. She attended the Dalkena Community Church.
She was a very talented artist and loved to swim and
travel.
Mrs. Kuhnhausen is survived by her husband, Derald,
Greenacres; sons, Tony Kuhnhausen, Newport, Monte Green and Shane Kuhnhausen,
both of Spokane, and Quinndel Kuhnhausen, Snoqualmie; daughters, Tina Ambrose,
Post Falls, Idaho, and Sonya and Tonya Kuhnhausen, both of Spokane; sisters,
Iva Phelps and Carol Callihan, both of White Salmon; half-sister, Cora Hampton,
Roy, Mo.; and 17 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sister Myrtle
Springs and half-sister, Zella Turner.
Services for Mrs. Kuhnhausen were held Oct. 17, 1995,
at 10 a.m. at the Grace Baptist Church in White Salmon, with Rev. Joel Hibbs
officiating. Interment was at Mt. Adams Cemetery, Glenwood.
Memorials may be given to Volunteers of American Crosswalk
Project for Homeless Children, Spokane.
