MRS. HELEN L. SAWYER

     Funeral services for Mrs. Helen L. Sawyer, 70, will be at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon Friday at 10 a.m.
     She died Monday in a nursing home at The Dalles were she had lived for the past eight years. Prior to that, Mrs. Sawyer had lived 50 years in White Salmon. She was born January 17, 1908 in Joplin, Mo.
     Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Betty Huskey, Mosier; Mrs. Mary Mitchell, Ava, Mo., three sons, Ira of Seattle, Elzie of Richfield, Wash., and Charles of Sewell, N.J.; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Boswell, Longbeach, Calif., Mrs. Dora Brightchrist, San Mateo, Calif., three brothers, Henry Seeley, Torrance, Calif., Carl Seeley, San Francisco, Robert Seeley, Bakersfield, Calif., twelve grandchildren.
     Burial will be at the White Salmon Cemetery.
     Smith Callaway Chapel of The Dalles is in charge of arrangements.
