HAROLD M. ALLEN

Harold M. Allen of White Salmon died Monday. He was 77.
Mr. Allen was born May 19, 1915 in Eugene, Ore. to Ethel and Bryan Allen. He moved to White Salmon and married Hazel Stott in 1942. He ran a beef ranch for a number of years.
During World War II he ran a dairy farm in Vancouver. After the war he worked for Hollenbeck Lumber Co; then in the woods until 1963. He farmed until retiring in 1951. He enjoyed traveling. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1988.
He is survived by his sons, Robert Allen of White Salmon and Fred Dollar of Stevenson; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Wednesday at White Salmon Cemetery.
