SERVICES TO BE SATURDAY; HARRIS
Hibbard M. Harris, age 96, passed away Tuesday at Skyline
hospital in White Salmon.
Harris was born on June 14, 1862 in Ohio. He moved to
the White Salmon area in 1932.
Hibbard Harris is survived by two grand-children, Pauline
Hendryx of Husum, and Charles Allen of Trout lake. Five great grand-children
also survive.
Funeral services are to be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Gardner's
Funeral home here. Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery, with the Rev.
Coulson of Husum, officiating at the service.

HIBBARD HARRIES RITES SATURDAY
Services for Hibbard Monroe Harris, 96, longtime resident
of Husum, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 1 at Gardner's Funeral Chapel.
The Rev. Homer Coulson officiated. Burial was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Lawrence Daniels, Ira Hill, Melva Locke,
Louis Mitchell, Charles Davis and Carl Teel.
Mr. Harris was born June 14, 1862 in Ohio. He came to
this community as a fruit worker in 1932 and was employed by Earl Coe.
He outlived his own children and for some years has been
a resident of the nursing wing at Skyline Hospital where he died on October
28.
He is survived by two grandchildren, Mrs. Russell (Pauline)
Hendryx of Husum and Charles Allen of Trout Lake; five great-grandchildren;
and a niece and two nephews in the east.
