FINAL RITES FOR HENRY LADIGES
Henry Ladiges of Glenwood passed away January 15 at Skyline
hospital in White Salmon at the age of 94.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 198,
at 1 p.m. at the Glenwood church in Glenwood, Rev. Clarence Twigg officiating.
Interment will be in Mt. Adams cemetery at Glenwood.
Mr. Ladiges is survived by three daughters, Melita Harvey
of Portland, Eleanor Abraham of Rainier, Ore. and Frieda Sheridan of Glenwood;
three sons, Arthur, Osmar and Henry Jr., all of Glenwood; 15 grandchildren
and three great grandchildren; a brother Max Ladiges, Glenwood; one sister,
Lottie Sellinger, Vancouver, Wash. and a step-brother, Paul Ladiges of Santiam,
Calif.

HENRY LADIGES, SR. CALLED BY DEATH
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today, Thursday,
Jan. 18 at the Glenwood church for Henry Ladiges, Sr., 84 who died Monday,
Jan. 15.
Gardners Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
The Rev. Clarence Twigg will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Adams cemetery,
Glenwood.
Mr. Ladiges was born in Germany on May 14, 1877 and came
to the U.S. when he was eight years old. Most of his life has been spent
farming in Glenwood Valley. He was a member of the Glenwood Grange and Camas
Prairie Pioneer Assn.
Survivors are three daughters, Melita Harvey of Portland,
Eleanor Abraham of Rainier, Ore. and Frieda Sheridan of Glenwood; three sons,
Arthur, Osmar and Henry Jr. of Glenwood; 15 grandchildren and three great
grandchildren.
Also, a brother Max of Glenwood; sister, Lottie Sellinger
of Vancouver; and step-brother, Paul Ladiges of Santa Ana, Calif.
