WILLIAM H. McKILLIP
William H. McKillip was born January 27th, 1858 in Missouri.
He came to Goldendale, Washington in 1880 and was married to Miss Mary Courtway
in 1886, to which union were born five children. Mr. McKillip died November
5th after an illness of one week.
Surviving him or his widow Mrs. Mary McKillip, and the
following a children: Albert, Grants Pass, Ore.; Anthony, of Honolulu, Hawaii;
Mrs. Annie Tyrrell, Wenatchee, Wash.; Mrs. Mary Montgomery and Chas., Goldendale;
nine grandchildren; two brothers, Charles, Hebo, Ore., and Robert, Centerville,
Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Shepard and Mrs. Mary Allison, Goldendale.
Thirty-five years ago he joined the Catholic church and
has been a firm follower of that faith since then.
He has been a faithful Granger for forty-two years, being
loved and respected by all.
Mr. McKillip's motto has been "Do unto others as you
would have done until you."

Wm. McKillip, a pioneer farmer of the Klickitat valley died suddenly, Saturday, November 5. The immediate cause of death being a rupture of the appendix. He was in his 75th year, and is survived by his wife and 5 children. The funeral services were held on Monday from the Goldendale Catholic church, Rev. Father Edwards officiating. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery near Centerville. Undertaker Merle W. Chapman had charge of the burial.
