IRVING DEBOIS BURIED IN LYLE ON TUESDAY
Irving A. DeBois, a resident of Bingen for 40 years,
died at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland on Feb. 22.
He was born Oct. 6, 1885, at Oneway, Mich. He owned a
fish farm and was a fisherman. Mr. DeBois was a staunch supporter of the
Lyle Pioneer Days.
Survivors include: his wife, Lillian; one daughter, Leona
Dailey of Newport, Or., one grandson, Albert Dailey of Vancouver, Wa., and
2 great grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday morning, Feb. 27th at 11 o'clock
at Gardner's Funeral Chapel with burial at Balch Cemetery in Lyle. Rev. Donald
Kaelin officiated.
