IVER B. AMUNDSON
Iver B. Amundson, a longtime resident of White Salmon,
died Feb. 9 in Camas at the age of 81.
Amundson was born in Norway on Aug. 22, 1899, to Mr.
and Mrs. Bernt Amundson. After coming to the United States, he moved to White
Salmon in the mid-1940s, where he lived until his death. He was retired from
the construction business.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Marie, of White Salmon;
a daughter, Helen Wilbanks of Toutle; a son, Parnell Amundson of White Salmon;
nine grandchildren.
Graveside services for Amundson were held Feb. 12 in
White Salmon, with Rev. Jim Franklin officiating.
