ISABEL COLE
Isabel B. Cole, 89, a resident of Trout Lake for 57 years,
died Aug. 17 at Mid-Columbia Medical Center in The Dalles. She lived at Valle
Vista Care Center in The Dalles the past eight years.
Mrs. Cole was born March 26, 1895, in Kent, Ore., to
Joseph and Jennie Patterson. She was the youngest of five children. Mrs.
Cole attended high school in White Salmon and worked in the local laundry
until she married Raymond Cole Nov. 2, 1919, in Goldendale. They made their
home on a farm in Trout Lake. Following her husband's death in 1976, Mrs.
Cole moved to Valle Vista.
Mrs. Cole was a member of the Trout Lake Presbyterian
Church and the Trout Lake Women's Club.
She is survived by seven children, Donald, Sequim; Robert,
Renton; Elizabeth Schmid, Trout Lake; Doris Kahler, Hood River; Margaret
McNeel, Spokane; Alice Majak, Three Hills, Alberta, Canada, and David, Trout
Lake; 25 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death
by her husband and two children.
Services for Mrs. Cole were Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the
Trout Lake Presbyterian Church, the Rev. James McGugin officiating. Interment
was in the Trout Lake Cemetery.

Church Memorial Fund.
