IVIN MONAGON
Ivin B. Monagon, a former Lyle resident, died Saturday
in Salem, Ore., in an automobile accident. He was 39.
Mr. Monagon was born Nov. 26, 1943, in New York to Mr.
and Mrs. Leslie Monagon. He moved to Aloha, Ore., from Lyle about 20 years
ago. He worked as a steelworker and supervisor and was a member of the Elks
Lodge and Local 16 Ironworkers.
He is survived by his father, Leslie, Portland; two children,
Debbie and Jamie Monagon, Portland, and Pamela Monagon, Chicago; four brothers,
Lester Monagon, The Dalles, Kenneth Monagon, McMinnville, Ore., Larry Monagon,
Portland, and Eugene Monagon, New York; and two sisters, Cynthia Monagon,
Gresham, Ore., and Shelia Howe, Portland.
Funeral services for Mr. Monagon were held Wednesday
at Gardner Funeral Home in white Salmon. Interment was at Balch Cemetery
in Lyle.
