RITES HELD HERE FOR IDA WALMAN
Funeral and burial ceremonies were held Tuesday for Ida
Walman, 72, a long time resident of Centerville. She passed away January
10.
The Rev. G.C. Cracker of the Church of the Nazarene
officiated at the services at Phillips Chapel, and interment followed in
the Centerville Grange Cemetery. Vocalist at the rites was Mrs. Thomas Roberts,
with Mrs. Lowell Snarr as organist.
Pallbearers were Hugh Cameron, Ernest Mattson, Otis Mattson,
Harvey Niemela, Virgil VanHoy, and Arthur Basse. Her obituary will be published
next week.

IDA WALMAN
Ida Walman, the daughter of Henry and Anna Hendrickson,
was born near Helsinki, Finland, August 30, 1886. After a prolonged illness
she passed away at the Klickitat Valley Hospital January 10, 1959.
She came to this country with her parents when she was
18 years of age.
On February 5, 1906 she was married to John August Walman.
To them was born a son, Edward and a daughter, Martha.
Mrs. Walman was a member of the Finnish Apostolic Lutheran
Church and lived most of her married life in Centerville and at Goldendale.
Surviving are a brother, Henry Hendrickson, Seattle;
a son, Edward Walman, Auburn, a daughter, Mrs. Charles Hartz, Goldendale;
four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nephews and nieces and
a host of friends.
