IVY MINERVA BROWN

     Iva Minerva Brown was born July 9, 1899, and died July 25, 1915, being 16 years and 16 days old.
     She was born in the Horseshoe Bend Neighborhood, Klickitat County, Washington, where she spent all of her youthful days. She finished the 9th grade last May and had a promising future before her. Some two years ago she gave her heart to God and was willing and ready to go and live with her savior. She was of a loving, kind and true disposition, a sweet and dutiful daughter, and lent a helping hand to all she could.
     She leaves a father, mother, two sisters and a brother to mourn her loss. She will be greatly missed in the neighborhood and was the light of her home.

Ivy, "Thou wasr mild and lovely,
Gentle as the summer breeze,
Pleasant as the air of evening
When it floats among the trees"

"Peaceful be thy silent slumber-
Peaceful in the gravest so low;
Thou no more wilt join our number,
Thou no more our songs shalt know."

Dearest Ivy, "thou hast left us;
Here thy loss we deeply feel;
But 'tis God that hath bereft us,
He can all our sorrows real."

"Yet again we hope to meet thee,
When the day of life is fled,
Then in heaven with joy to greet thee
Where no farewell tear is in shed."

Card of Thanks

     We wish to express our deepest appreciation for the many kind acts and for the lovely flowers during this, our hour of bereavement.

T.B. Brown and family.
