IVAN MCCUMBER DIES DEC. 17TH

     Ivan McCumber, long-time resident of the Glenwood area, was found dead in his cabin Wednesday morning, Dec. 18. It was estimated that he had died sometime Tuesday from an apparent heart attack.
     McCumber was born on Dec. 30, 1898 in Oregon.
     Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 21 at the Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon with the Rev. Eugene Haynes of Bethel Congregational church officiating.
     Interment was in Mt. Adams Cemetery at Glenwood.
     He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Owen (Eloise) Wallace of Portland and nephews: James Marvin of Sisters, Oregon and Alvin Marvin of White Salmon.
