IVAN SMITH DIES IN VANCOUVER LAST THURSDAY

     Ivan Watson Smith who was born at Ione, Oregon, on October 21, 1884, died Dec. 9, at Vancouver Memorial Hospital.
     He is survived by: his wife, Mabel; one son, Claire W. Smith; 2 sisters, Rhoda Churchill of Lebanon, Ore., and Ruth Bursen of Aumsville, Oregon; 2 grandsons, 1 grandaughter, and 6 great grandchildren.
     Rosary was said at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Sunday evening, December 11, with Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 9 o'clock. Committal services were conducted at Gardner's Chapel Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
