JAKE ELMER

     ARPIN -- Services will be at 1:30 Thursday afternoon at Buchanan Funeral Home, Pittsville, for Jake Elmer, 76, Arpin. He died at 9 p.m. Monday at his home.
     The Rev. James Lemen, pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in Arpin Cemetery.
     Jake Wunrow, Bill Ohm, Louis Grimm, Bob Hinrichsen, Carl Hohn and David Hagemann will be pallbearers. Eugene Yerke and Mrs. David Hegemann will be vocalists.
     Mr. Elmer, son of Mrs. and Mrs. (Rachel) Elmer, was born Nov. 2, 1903 in Arpin. He attended Powers Bluff School. He was a dairy farmer.
     Surviving are six sisters, Mrs. Tillie Elmer of Milwaukie and Misses Bena, Gertrude "Gertie", Viola, Irene and Luella Elmer, all of Arpin.
