JACOB AERNI

     Succumbing to about three years of failing health, Jacob Aerni, 52, of the Mount Pleasant district, died this morning at a local hospital. He had made his home in the Trout Lake district most of his life.
     Among the survivors are the widow, Mrs. Gracie Branstetter Aerni, to whom he was married in 1925; one son, Albert; and one daughter, Margaret, all at home; his father, Joseph Aerni of Jefferson, Ore.; two brothers, Joseph Aerni Jr., of Trout Lake and Joshua Aerni of Jefferson, Ore.; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Schmid of Trout Lake, Mrs. Mary Kautz of Vancouver, and Mrs. Hannah Englert of Woodland; three half-brothers; and four half-sisters.
     The body is at the Vancouver Funeral Chapel pending funeral arrangements.

"Trout Lake Notes"

     Jack Aerni died in the hospital in Vancouver, December 17. The funeral was held Monday, December 21 in the Trout Lake Presbyterian church, with Rev. George Good in charge.
     He leaves a wife and two small children, his father, two brothers, three sisters and several half-brothers and sisters to mourn his loss.
