JOHN A. HASSING
Mr. John A. (Jack) Hassing, 75, of Goldendale, passed
away February 22, 1995 at his home.
He was born on April 17, 1999 in Dufur, Ore. to John
and Alberta Hassing. The family moved to Condon where Jack attended school.
He served in the U.S. Army Corps during WWII and came
to Goldendale in 1943. He was a farmer, raising cattle, wheat and hay.
Jack was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church,
the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion and the Centerville Grange.
He enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by one son, Robert of Goldendale; one
daughter, Leona Hassing of the Tri-Cities; three grandchildren and two
great-grand children also survive.
Mass of Christian burial was said Feb. 25 at Holy Trinity
Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas V. Lane as celebrant. Interment was in Holy
Trinity Cemetery under the care of Erdman Funeral Home.
