HENDRICKSON RITES HELD ON SATURDAY
Well Known Centerville Man's Remains Interred in Grange Plot Following Service
Services for Jake Hendrickson were held Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Finnish Lutheran Church at Centerville with Rev. Wm. Basse officiating. Interment was in the Centerville Grange cemetery.
Obituary
Jake Hendrickson was born in Finland, February 17, 1872,
and died at his home in Centerville, July 15, 1937.
He came to the United States in 1892, was married to
Annie Jokiaho on August 17, 1901. To this union were born six children, five
of the home survive him. He leaves to mourn his passing, his widow, three
daughters, Nellie Bieker of Portland, Irene Van Hoy of Centerville, Sylvia
of Seattle; two sons, Everett of Portland, and Edwin of Spokane; three sisters,
Mrs. Elmer Mattson, Mrs. August Mattson, and Mrs. John Walman, all of
Centerville; and one brother, Henry of Seattle; besides a host of other relatives
and friends.
