JAMES ALBERT MAGUIRE JR.
James Albert Maguire, Jr., 63, of Carson, died in White
Salmon on July 8, 2003. He was born in Westwood, Calif. on Jan. 31, 1940
to Violet Marguerite (Thornhill) and James Albert Maguire, Sr.
Mr. Maguire lived in California until his early teens
at which time he moved to the Stevenson area.
On Sept. 30, 1961 he married Mildred "Millie" Prichard.
He worked as a logger until 1972, he then became a machinist and started
his own gunsmith business.
Mr. Maguire loved hunting, 63, fishing and target shooting.
He also loved to talk and was an reader.
He is survived by his wife Millie of Carson; daughter
Lona Jade Maguire of Stabler; son Colin Maguire of North Bonneville; sister
Jacqueline Speers of Wrangell, Alaska; brother Jerry Maguire of Carson, and
five grandchildren.
At his request there will be no services. Gardner Funeral
Home's Columbia River Crematory handled the arrangements.
