JACK PRINE
Jack Prine of White Salmon died Friday. He was 80.
Mr. Prine was born Jan.29, 1912 in McClurg, Mo. to Elizabeth
(Deckard) and A.B. Prine. He grew up in Missouri and married Troy Essary
in 1939. He moved to the White Salmon area in 1946. He was employed with
SDS Lumber Co. for about 18 years.
He was a member of the Eagles Lodge. He loved to hunt
and fish.
He is survived by his wife, Troy of White Salmon; daughter,
Linda Johnson of Walla Walla; grandsons Joseph P. and Andrew D. Johnson,
both of Walla Walla; sister, Alta Trent of White Salmon; numerous nieces
and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Gardner Funeral
Home in White Salmon; followed by vault interment at White Salmon Cemetery.
