JAMES TAYLOR HENDRYX
This afternoon, April 18, at 2 p.m. Gardner's Funeral
home will have charge of a service for James Taylor Hendryx, a pioneer of
this area who has lived at in Husum since 1894 and in the near vicinity since
1888. The Rev. Mr. Coulson of Husum will officiate.
He was born April 9, 1875 in Texas and died at his home
in Husum at 6:30 a.m. Monday, April 15, after a series of illnesses this
winter.
He is survived by his widow, Jannett, Husum; three sons;
James and Bethewel, White Salmon and George, Husum; and seven grandchildren;
Mildred Johnson, Portland; Karen and Michael Hendryx, Husum; Douglas Hendryx,
Vancouver; Renae Hendryx, White Salmon; Mrs. George Holter (Erdine), Portland
and Mrs. Daniel Caldwell (Charlotte), Hadley, Mass.
