JACOB B. TOWNEY
Jacob B. Towney passed away at Medical Lake, Washington,
on March 10, at the age of 70 years. He was born on May 5, 1872, in Franklin
county, Kansas, and was married to Ida Josephine Shriver in 1899.
He is survived by Mrs. Florence McArdell, of Oakland,
California; Mrs. Pearl Shank, of San Leandro, California; Jacqueline Towney,
of Seattle, Washington; Donald Towney, Mrs. Delia Bradford, Curtis Towney
Wise, a son by a former marriage, all of Portland, Oregon; three sisters
and one brother.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 14, at the Lyle
church, Rev. George L. Jefferson, of White Salmon, officiating. Interment
was held in the Lyle cemetery.

Funeral services for Jacob B. Towney were held Sunday, March 14 at 1:30 p.m. at the Lyle Methodist church with the Rev. George L. Jefferson officiating. Interment was in the Lyle cemetery with Gardner's Funeral Service in charge. Mr. Towney was born May 5, 1872 in Franklin County, Kansas and died March 10 at Medical Lake, Wash. He is survived by five children, Mrs. Florence McArdell, Oakland, Calif.; Mrs. Pearl Shank, San Leandro, Calif.; Jacqueline Towney, Seattle; Donald Towney, Mrs. Dalia Bradford and Curtis Towney Wise of Portland and three sisters and one brother.
