JAMES C. AUSTIN SERVICES HELD AT ST. JOSEPH'S
James Carl Austin of White Salmon, died Thursday, August
4 at Husum. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James A. Austin,
a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Jordan all of White Salmon, grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. Carl Garghoff and William D. Austin all of Yakima.
He was born at Yakima October 18, 1945. He was in the
United States Army from March 1963 to March 1966. He had been employed in
the planer mill at SDS Lumber Co. since April.
Rosary was said Friday, August 5, with a Requiem Mass
Saturday at 10 a.m. with Father Shields officiating. Burial was in Goodwill
cemetery, White Salmon.
Bearers were Robert Berghoff, James Jordan, Joe Peterson,
Wayne Jarvis, Les Berghoff, and Monty Berghoff.
