JOYCE KLAWITTER
Joyce Chloe Klawitter died at her home in White Salmon
on Feb. 19, 1996, at the age of 69.
Mrs. Klawitter was born June 18, 1926, in Frederick,
Okla., to Buena Vesta (Cruz) and Carl Branum. She was raised in Eagle Rock,
Calif. She married George Klawitter on March 29, 1945. She lived in Cascades
Locks, Ore., until six months ago, when she moved to White Salmon for health
reasons.
Mrs. Klawitter is survived by her husband, George, White
Salmon; daughters Susan Boeck, Granite Bay, Calif., Cynthia Martin, Fresno,
Calif., Deborah Granger, The Dalles, Ore., and Rebecca Snyder, Cascade Locks,
Ore., son Breck Klawitter, Clovis, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren.
Graveside services for Mrs. Klawitter will be held Friday,
Feb. 23, 1996, at 2 p.m. at the White Salmon Cemetery, with Rev. Sigmund
Podlozny, Jr. officiating.
Memorials may be given to Hospice of the Gorge in care
of Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon.
Arrangements were handled by Gardner Funeral Home.
