JIM MUIR SERVICES WEDNESDAY MORNING
James Cameron Muir died Saturday, January 21, at his
home near White Salmon. He is survived by a step-son, Harold Allen of White
Salmon and a step-daughter Mrs. Edna Buchanan of Kent, Wash.
Funeral services were Wednesday January 25 at 10 a.m.
at Gardner's Funeral Chapel in White Salmon with burial in White Salmon Cemetery.
Rev. Homer Coulson officiated.
Casket bearers were Ray Walker Louis Jarvis, Lon Yarnell,
Frederick House, Fred Dollar and Robert Dollar. Honorary bearers were Vern
Zimmerman and Melvin Walker.
Mr. Muir was born May 15, 1886 at Walsenberg, Colo. Before,
his retirement he was a carpenter and farmer. He was a veteran of World War
I, and was a member of American Legion Post 87 and the White: Salmon World
War I Barracks.

James Cameron Muir was born May 15, 1886 at Walsenberg,
Colorado, died on Jan. 21, 1967 at his residence in rural White Salmon.
He lived in this community since 1932 where he was a
carpenter and farmer during his working years.
He was a World War I veteran and was a member of the
American Legion Post 87 and World War I Barracks in White Salmon.
He is survived by one step son, Harold Allen of White
Salmon, and a stepdaughter, Edna Buchanan of Kent, Wash.
Services were held on Wednesday, January 25, at Gardner's
Chapel with Rev. Homer Coulson of Husum officiating. Interment was
at the White Salmon Cemetery.
