JOHN FRANKLIN COCHRAN
John Franklin Cochran passed away February 14 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland. He was born on June 5th, 1869 and died at the age of 80 years and eight months. The funeral service was held last Sunday, February 19 at 2 p.m. from the Gardner Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Thomas officiated. he was buried in the I.O.O.F. cemetery with the Grange committal service at the graveside.

JOHN FRANKLIN COCHRAN
John Franklin Cochran was born June 5th, 1868 in Kansas
City, Kansas. He came west in 1902 and lived in Idaho and Oregon, then moving
to White Salmon where he lived the last 34 years, raising a large family
of 10 children.
Surviving are Mrs. C.J. Christoffersen, Mrs. Janet Taylor,
Mrs. Elsie Bongo, Mrs. Harry Percy, Jr., all of Portland, Ore. Mrs. W.G.
Hayes and Mrs. Gerry Sipe of Yakima, Washington, Paul Cochran and Eugene
and Clyde Cochran of Hollywood.
Mr. Cochran was married to Easter Maxey in 1894, she
having preceded him in death in 1948.
Funeral Services were held February 19th at 2 p.m. at
Gardner's Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Thomas officiating. Committal services
were given by the Mt. View Grange in the Oddfellow Cemetery at White Salmon.

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR JOHN COCHRAN TO BE HELD THIS SUNDAY AT 2:00 P.M.
Funeral services for John Franklin Cochran, age 81 years,
who passed away on Tuesday, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, will
be held this Sunday afternoon at the Gardner Funeral Home at 2:00
p.m.
The Rev. Charles Thomas will officiate with burial in
the IOOF cemetery here. The Mt. View Grange will have charge of committal
services.
