JOHN CONBOY KILLED

     John Conboy, who is well known in Glenwood, was killed last week while working in a logging camp at Oakland, between Portland, and Astoria. He was struck in the back by a tackle-block when a cable broke. The young man was taken to a Portland hospital where he lived only two days. The body was brought to Glenwood for burial, funeral services being conducted by Rev. Seldon Ewing. The deceased is survived by two sisters, Mrs. W.D. Pierce of Goldendale, Mrs. O.P. Kreps of Laurel, and a brother, Peter Conboy, of Camas valley.

     The funeral of John Conboy was held last Monday at the Grange cemetery. Deceased was a brother of Pete Conboy of this place and also Mrs. Oliver Kreps.
