JULIA EMMA (McGRATH) KRALL
Julia Emma (McGrath) Krall was born the daughter of Thomas
and Minerva McGrath, December 21, 1896, in Glenwood, Washington.
She was united in marriage to Edward Walter Krall on
June 11, 1911. Born to this union were three children, Norman Edward Krall
of B.Z. Corners, Washington, Homer Delbert Krall of Lyle, Washington, Irma
June Ladiges of Glenwood, Washington. Left also to treasure her memory are
13 grandchildren; Donna, Delora, Lyn, Ray, Darlene, Karen, Sharon, Shelia,
Jackie, Eddie, Ronald, Coral, and Gloria. She is survived by a sister, Sarah
Trenner of Ashland, Oregon and a brother, Andrew McGrath of Glenwood. Also
several nieces and nephews.
Julia Krall has been a resident of Klickitat County for
more than three score years, most of which were spent in Glenwood. The last
19 years her home was at B.Z. Corners, where the two years past, a portion
of her home has been the Little Home Chapel.
After being hospitalized for a short time, Julia Krall
succumbed to a severe heart attack of Tuesday, July 19, 1955, at the age
of 68 and one-half years. Besides her relatives, she leaves a multitude of
friends, young and old, and a storehouse of memories.

DEATH WRITES "30" FOR SUN'S "BZ" CORRESPONDENT
Death by coronary thrombosis wrote "30" to the life of
Julia Emma Krall, the Sun's friendly correspondence from B.Z. Corners. Mrs.
Krall died at 5:20 p.m., Tuesday, July 19, at Skyline hospital where she
had been for three days.
Mrs. Krall was born in December 21, 1886, at the Glenwood.
Since 1936 she has lived at B.Z. Corners. Her husband, the late Edward W.
Krall, died September 1, 1952.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 22, at
the Glenwood Church. Gardners are in charge of arrangements. The Rev. Coulson
of Husum will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood's Mt. Adams Cemetery
beside her husband.
The following have been requested to serve as pall bearers:
O.P. and Russell Kreps, Frank Lyle, Max Ladiges, George and Robert Wellenbrock.
Mrs. Krall is survived by two sons, Norman of BZ Corners
and Homer of Glenwood, a daughter, Irma, Mrs. Max Ladiges of Glenwood: her
sister, Sarah Trenner of Ashland, Oregon; and a brother, Jack McGrath of
Glenwood: and 13 grandchildren.
The family suggests that those who wish may contribute
a memorial to the building fund of Glenwood's new church.

DEATH COMES TO SENTINEL WRITER JULIA E. KRALL, 68
Death claimed Julia Emma Krall, 68, for many years BZ
Corner, correspondent for The Sentinel, at Skyline Hospital in White Salmon
Tuesday night, July 19. She died of coronary thrombosis, after being hospitalized
for three days.
Services were held Friday at the Glenwood Church, with
the Rev. Coulson of Husum officiating and interment followed at the Mt. Adams
Cemetery in Glenwood. Mrs. Krall was buried beside her husband. Pallbearers
were 0.P. and Russell Kreps, Frank Lyle, Max Ladiges, and George and Robert
Wellenbrock.
Mrs. Krall was born December 21, 1886 at Glenwood and
had lived at BZ Corner since 1938. Her husband, Edward Krall, died September
1, 1952.
Survivors include her sons, Norman of BZ Corner, and
Homer of Glenwood; a daughter, Irma (Mrs. Max Ladiges) of Glenwood; and 13
grandchildren.
The family has suggested that those who wish may contribute
a memorial to the building fund of Glenwood's new church.
