JASON IHRIG

     Jason Ihrig, a Goldendale resident for 14 years, died June 21 at the age of 74.
     He was born Apr. 16, 1905, to John and Betsy Ihrig, Forest Grove, Ore. He moved to Condon in 1922 where he married Goldie Cook on Oct. 30, 1928.
     The family moved to Goldendale in1951 where he farmed until his retirement in 1965.
     He was preceded in death by his wife, brother Louie and sister Eula.
     Survivors include five children, Joyce Wilkins, Robert Ihrig and John Ihrig, Goldendale; Lorraine Wallingford, Los Angeles, Cal.; Bill Ihrig, Philonath, Ore.; 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters Lena Peterson, Ore. and Mildred Kamp, Seattle.
     He was a member of Mt. Mariah Lodge No. 95 AF & AM, Condon, Ore.
     Funeral services were held in Goldendale of June 25 with Rev. Herbert Evans officiating. Pallbearers were Fred Weaver, Dick Hugg, Ray DeHart, Ken DeHart, Jim DeHart, and Jasper White.
     Interment was in the Spring Creek Cemetery.
