McGAUGHEY
Mr. Joseph F. McGaughey, Jr., 28, of Klickitat died
Wednesday, Oct. 3, 1990, near Goldendale from injuries received in an auto
accident. He was born June 29, 1962, at Baker, Ore. to Joseph and Joyce
McGaughey. The family moved to Klickitat in 1963. He attended schools in
Klickitat, graduating from Klickitat High School.
Mr. McGaughey married Bretta Crooks Sept. 22, 1987, and
he was employed by Champion International in Klickitat. He was a member of
the Catholic Church and enjoyed softball, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife Bretta, two daughters Danielle
and Kelly, his parents Joseph, Sr. and Joyce McGaughey all of Klickitat;
two sisters, Johnna Vanek of Tualatin, Oregon and Julie Moser of Bangor,
Wash.
Vigil services were Oct. 5, at Holy Trinity Catholic
Church in Goldendale. Mass of Christian Burial were Oct. 6, at Holy Trinity
Church with Fathers Kenneth Kron and Thomas Lane officiating. Interment was
in Holy Trinity Cemetery under the care of Knosher-Erdman Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Pat Hoagland, Todd Laird, Briantt
Crooks, Jay Holtman, Andy Schlangen and Howard Clack. Honorary pallbearers
were Melvin Niemela and Eugene Graeme.
