JAMES STRONG
James Gilbert Strong, a resident on Trout Lake, Washington,
passed away at Skyline Hospital, White Salmon on Feb. 5th.
He was born April 25th, 1886 at Woodland, Washington,
the son of Etta and Mr. J.W. Strong. He had lived in the Woodland area and
Washougal for a number of years before moving to Trout Lake in 1948.
Surviving are his wife, Cecile Strong of Trout Lake,
Washington; a son, J.W. Strong of Seattle, Washington; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret
Richtermeir of San Diego, Calif.; three step-daughters; Mrs. Lola Caryl of
Trout Lake, Wash., Mrs. Harriet Surna of Goldendale, Wash., Mrs. Beth Story
of Theodore, Alabama; also 18 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Thursday, Feb. 8th, 2 p.m.
at the Trout Lake Cemetery. Rev. Keith Curry of the Presbyterian Church of
Trout Lake officiated. Casket bearers were: F.E. Childs, Erwin Sweighoefer,
Dean Dodge, John Madison, Robert McNeel, R.C. Lewis.

San Diego, Calif.; three step-daughters, Mrs. Lola Caryl of Trout Lake, Mrs.
Harriet Suran of Goldendale, and Mrs. beth Story of Theodore Alabama; also
19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A sister Mrs. Ethel Howard of Portland, also survives.
Graveside services will be Thursday, Feb. 8,a t 2 p.m.
