"Heard on the Streets"

     John H. Sharp died at the home of W.M. Herron, residing 21 miles north west of the city, on Tuesday, at the age of 58 years, of srysipelas. Interment occurred yesterday in the Spring Creek Cemetery. The deceased was little known here. A sister in Michigan was notified.

OBITUARY

     J.H. Sharp was born August 24, 1856 in Jera County, Ill., died of erysipelas at the home of W.H. Herron, twelve miles north west of Goldendale. Funeral services were held at the Spring Creek school house at 2 o'clock, July 2. Rev. E.J. Adams preached the funeral sermon. The remains were laid to rest in the Spring Creek cemetery. Deceased leaves one sister, Mrs. Jennie Brought, in Princeton, Ill., to mourn his loss. He was a member of the Presbyterian church of Redding, Minn. The bereaved sister has the sympathy of all of our people in this, her great day of sorrow.
     But with the writer she can say the last chosen Chapter read to him was Heb. 13. His faith in Jesus Christ seemed all in all to him.
