TROUT LAKE PIONEER PASSES AWAY

     John J. Meyer, pioneer settler of the Trout Lake Valley, passed away at his home on Easter Sunday, following a lingering illness. Deceased was about 68 years of age and had lived in the Trout Lake Valley for 16 years. He was born in Germany. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 P.M., with burial in the Trout Lake Cemetery.
     Deceased leaves his widow and six children; Mrs. Raymond of Portland, Mrs. Mary Weingartner, of Trout Lake; Mrs. Minnie Sutton, of California; William, Johnnie, and Louis Meyer, of Trout Lake.
