JOHN ANDERSON
Lifelong White Salmon resident John L. Anderson died
Feb. 23. He was 79.
Mr. Anderson was born on Jan. 16, 1913 in White Salmon
to Abby Koining and John Anderson. Born and raised in White Salmon, he graduated
from the local high school and was a rancher in the area since 1935. He was
also a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and a member of the Cattlemen's
Association.
He is survived by his wife, Frances of White Salmon;
sons, Don and John Anderson of White Salmon; daughters Barbara Todd of Lake
Osewgo, Sandra Anderson of Portland and Leslie Humberg of White Salmon; brothers
and sisters, Cecelia Lawrence of San Marino, Calif., Grace Lutz of Husum,
Francis Anderson of Husum, and Walter Anderson of Boring.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, at 10
a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, followed by vault interment at White
Salmon Cemetery.
