J.L. BROCK DIES
J. L. Brock, No. Bonneville, died at Skyline hospital
Tuesday evening, Dec. 8 at the age of 91. The Funeral will be Saturday, Dec.
12, at 1 p.m. at Gardners.
An obituary will be published next week.

JACOB LEE BROCK
Jacob Lee Brock died at Skyline hospital Tuesday Dec.
8, at the age of 91.
He was born February 2, 1868 in Shedd, Oregon where he
lived until he was 16. For a number of years he ran horses and cattle in
the Big Bend area.
On October 14, 1893 he married Flora Alice Brock, who
tho she had the same name, was no relative. Until 1907 they made their home
in Idaho and then came to the local area. Several years ago he retired and
for the last month both Mr. and Mrs. Brock have been at the North Bonneville
Sanatarium.
Funeral services were held at Gardner's at 1 p.m. Saturday
with Rev. Oscar Olsen officiating. Interment was in the Christ-Zada cemetery
at Underwood.
Surviving are his widow Flora, three sons, Irvin of
Underwood, Melvin of Goldendale and Lloyd of Phoenix, Arizona; and one daughter
Mrs. James Bailey of Hermiston, Oregon. There are 20 grandchildren. One son,
Frederick preceded him in death seven years ago.

BROCK RITES TO BE ON SATURDAY
Jacob Lee Brock, long time resident of the Underwood
and Mill A Flat area, passed away at Skyline Hospital Dec. 8th. Mr. brock
was born February 2nd, 1868 in Shedd, Oregon.
Surviving are his wife, Flora of Underwood, three sons,
Irvin E. Brock of Underwood, Melvin of Goldendale and Lloyd of Phoenix,
Arizona.
A daughter, Mrs. James Bailey of Hermiston, Oregon. Also
twenty grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 12th 1 p.m. at
Gardner's Funeral Home, White Salmon. Interment will be at the Underwood
Cemetery.
