"Firwood Chips"

Death visited the Fisher home Tuesday and took our little friend Johnny away. His death comes as a great shock, and was caused by a fall on the ice while skating. He was sick only a few days, but very delerious most of the time, and had a high fever. The end came at noon Tuesday. The funeral was held on Thursday. There were short services at the house, followed by services at the Spring Creek Schoolhouse. Mr. and Mrs. Fisher have the sincere sympathy of their many friends. Mr. J. H. Thorne came up from Lyle to officiate.
Mr. and Mrs. C. Sturdevant, of White Salmon, and Mrs. A. Wortz, of Portland, arrived to attend the Johnny Fisher funeral. Mr. and Mrs. Sturdevant have returned to their home, but Mrs. Wortz will be at the Fisher home for some time.
