JOSEPH DROHAN

     Joseph Drohan, 66, of Goldendale passed away Tuesday, July 9, 1996 at his home.
     He was born September 8, 1929 in Ireland to Michael and Annie Drohan.
     Joe went to school in Ireland, moving to Canada in 1952 and to Monrovia, Calif. in 1956. He worked most of his life as a printer and after his retirement in 1989, moved to Goldendale.
     He was a member of the Catholic Church and built beautiful and unique bird houses. Joe loved animals and living in the west.
     Joe is survived by his wife, June, whom he married on Feb. 14, 1986 in San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; one daughter, Mairead Lais of Gladstone, Ore.; four sons, Miceal, Sean and Patrick Malchy, all of Monrovia; son Diarmuid and daughter-in-law, Carol of Danville, Calif.; seven grandchildren; one brother, Miceal, and two sisters, Mary Teresa Carmen Drohan and Nancy and husband, Tom Butler, all of Ireland.
     Mass of Christian burial was said on July 12 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Thomas V. Lane as celebrant. Internet was in Holy Trinity Cemetery under the care of Erdman Funeral Home.
