"Local News"

     The death of John Flannery occurred at Medical Lake Monday morning at one o'clock. He had been ill but a few days. The remains were shipped to Goldendale, and undertaker Merle W. Chapman met the Tuesday train and took the body to his chapel. The funeral services were held this morning at 9:30, by Rev. Father Edwards. Interment followed in the Catholic cemetery. An obituary will follow.

THE PASSING OF JOHN FLANNERY

     John Flannery, of Goldendale, for the past two years at Medical Lake asylum, died Wednesday. An obituary notice will appear in next week.
