JOYCE IMAN
On Friday, June 30, 2006, Joyce Yvonne Iman died. She
was born in Bisbee, Ariz., on Sept. 10, 1935, the daughter of Nellie Frances
and John Henry Key. Shortly after their divorce, Nellie married Edward Francis
Lykens. Mrs. Iman lovingly mothered the siblings to follow, Edward Alvin,

and had three children.

the Bible, and television shows such as Law and Order and CSI. She was a
hard worker all her life, first as a waitress, later retiring as a meat wrapper
in the Seattle area. She returned to Lyle three years ago to share a home
with her sister Mildred.
Mrs. Iman loved the Columbia River and her favorite saying
was, "Thank you, Jesus." She was a family-oriented and very responsible woman,
always loving and protective of her children.
Surviving Mrs. Iman are her children Ronald Victor Cox,
Monroe, and Florina Osberg, Bradenton, Fla.; brother Rev. Edward A. Lykens,
Murfreesboro, Tenn.; sisters Mary L. Sorenson, Dallesport, and Mildred Lykens,
Lyle; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death
by her parents and daughter Vonnie Jean Cox.
