JAMES O. MCDANIELS
James O. McDaniels, aged 61, died on Wednesday, Feb.
5, 1941, at his home in Underwood.
James O. McDaniels was born on May 9, 1879 in McDowell
county, Tennessee. He had been a resident of this section for the past eight
years, doing carpentry work as his trade. He was a member of the Masonic
lodge.
He is survived by his wife Vena McDaniels, of Underwood;
his mother, Mrs. Rebecca McDaniels, of a North Carolina; Mrs. E. Clark, of
North Carolina; Mrs. Lela Smith of Tampa, Florida, his two sisters; and one
brother, Ed McDaniel, of Chattanooga, Tenn.
Funeral services will be held in Gardner's Chapel Friday
afternoon at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. J.C. Reynolds officiating. Burial will
be in the Underwood cemetery with the Masonic lodge in charge of services.
Gardner's Funeral service was in charge of arrangements.
