GUNSHOT DEATH REPORTED IN DALLESPORT
A Dallesport man was found dead in his home on Sunday
when the Klickitat County Sheriff's office was called to respond to a report
of a self-inflicted gunshot injury.
The call was received at 3:17 and deputies went to a
residence in the 100 block of Elm Street in Dallesport.
On arrival, a deputy found Joseph B. Pinell, 43, dead
at the scene.
The Klickitat County Coroner's office is investigating.
An ambulance from Mid-Columbla Fire & Rescue also
responded to the scene and was on stand-down until released by the sheriff's
office.

JOSEPH PINELL
Joseph Pinell, 44, a resident of Dallesport, died at
his home on Jan. 26, 2003.
He was born in The Dalles on May 21, 1958 to Peggy D.
(Spencer) and Joseph M. Pinell. He attended school in Lyle then worked throughout
his life in the construction industry.
He enjoyed fishing and collecting and working on old
cars. Survivors include his father, Joseph Pinell, Dallesport; sisters Kathleen
Scholes, Clackamas; and Deborah Dooley, Kennewick, Wash.; daughter Christy
Pinell, California, Sons Brian Marshall Pinell and Charles Leonard Pinell
and daughter Amber Lynn Pinell, all of Eden, Idaho; grandmother and
step-grandfather Alice and Ariel Morgan, Dallesport. He was preceded in death
by his mother Peggy.
Cremation was handled by Gardner Funeral Home's Columbia
River Crematory in White Salmon.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
