JOSENE PERKINS
Graveside services were held Friday, Oct. 13, for Josene
Bartlett Perkins of White Salmon who died Oct. 9 at her home. She was 56.
She was born April 9, 1933, in Seattle to Dorothy M.
(Hood) and Joseph Bartlett Guiberson. She lived in Glenwood many years, operating
a small farm there for about five years. She then worked for the tavern for
several years.
She also worked for St. Regis driving a water truck.
She moved to White Salmon about five years ago. She enjoyed reading.
She is survived by mother Dorothy Guiberson of Seattle;
sons Richard Perkins and Jeffrey Perkins, both of DeLand, Fla.; daughter
Kathryn M. Denny of White Salmon; brothers Roderick W. Guiberson of Puyallup,
and Douglas G. Guiberson of Seattle; sister Ann McCracken of Seattle; and
three grandchildren.

PERKINS
A former Glenwood resident, Josene Bartlett Perkins died
at her home in White Salmon Oct. 9, 1989 at the age of 56.
She was born April 9, 1933 in Seattle to Dorothy M. (Hood) and Joseph
Bartlett Guiberson, and lived in Glenwood for many years. She operated a
small farm there for about five years, then worked in a tavern for several
years.
Mrs. Perkins also worked for St. Regis Lumber Co., driving
a water truck, before moving to White Salmon about five years ago. She loved
to read.
Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Guiberson of Seattle,
two sons: Richard and Jeffrey Perkins, both of DeLand, Fla., a daughter,
Kathryn M. Denny, White Salmon, two brothers, Roderick W. Guiberson of Puyallup,
Wash., and Douglas G. Guiberson of Seattle, a sister, Ann McCracken, Seattle,
and three grandchildren.
Graveside services were Friday, Oct. 13, at Mt. Adams
Cemetery, Glenwood. Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon had charge of
arrangements.
