OBITUARY
John R. Dooley was born in Indiana, January 3rd, 1853,
and pasted to his final reward April 19th, 1918. He was married to Mary E.
Stephenson, January 1st, 1879. They moved to Klickitat, October 27, 1897,
and here resided until the death of Mr. Dooley. He is survived by his widow
and five children: Mrs. Etta Niemela, and Alonzo Dooley, of Centerville,
Mrs. Lettit Hardin, of Portland, and Roy and Joseph Dooley of Goldendale.
The funeral services were held from the Chapman Parlors
last Saturday, and was conducted by Rev. H.T. Greene. Interment was made
in the Centerville Cemetery.
Mr. Dooley was favorably known by a host of friends and
acquaintances as a man of sterling qualities. He was for many years a member
of the Christian Church.
