JAMES TAYLOR HENDRYX
James Taylor Hendryx, a life-long resident of White Salmon,
died here April 8 at the age of 75.
He was born to Mr. and Mrs. James T. Hendryx in Husum
on Aug. 14, 1905. He married Esther Balsiger on Nov. 20, 1930, and was a
farmer until his retirement.
He was a member of the Bethel Congregational church,
the Mt. View Grange, and was president of the Mid-Columbia Horticultural
Society.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Erdine Holter
of Portland, Charlotte Caldwell of White Salmon and Della Luth of Underwood;
a brother, Bethewel Hendryx of White Salmon, seven grandchildren, two
great-grandchildren, three nieces and two nephews.
Services for Hendryx were held Saturday at Gardner Funeral
Home in White Salmon. The Rev. Frederick Haag officiated. Interment was in
White Salmon.
