"Locals and Personals"

     The remains of J.T. Thompson were brought from Vancouver to Centerville for burial on Monday this week, death occurring last Friday. He was born in Wayne Co., Indiana on June 15, 1832, was married to Miss Annie Keel in 1858 and moved to Klickitat County in 1874. There were born 13 children to this union, ten of whom are living. He died near Battle Ground, and Clark County, on March 5th. He lived in the Centerville County for 34 years and was widely known. Mrs. Matt Mattson and Ed Thompson are children residing in Klickitat. Deceased had a great many friends in this section.
